“This was a wonderful tour. One of the fields was beautifully in bloom, However the lavender was not in bloom at the abbey. I think the tour guide should give the option of not going to the abbey, if not in bloom. The only reason to go to the abbey is for the Lavender view. An option of staying longer in the hilltown of Rousillion would have made the tour perfect. Rousillion was magical and we did not have nearly enough time there. I am so glad I booked this tour and would recommend.”

Expected that we would be taken to a lavender plantation where we could buy high quality lavender products. Our guide was very lovely, but some commentary along the way would have been nice. I did appreciate the market stop in L'Isle sur la Sorge and the ice-cream recommendation in Roussillon.”

We got a lot of infos about the different kinds of lavender, the distillation process and usage of the essential oils. Also we learned some general things about the areas we were passing by. And we were actually able to see the last fine lavender fields! I was convinced that I missed everything but Soléne knew where to find them. “A great tour - lovely French scenery. Four of us took the TGV from Lyon to Avignon TGV station where we were picked up by our guide Thierry. We did 2 more pick ups then off to the countryside. Thierry was extremely knowledgeable and although we asked him a question he didn't know the answer to immediately - as soon as he could he got us the answer. “This tour made for one of our best days on our vacation. My mother and I had a truly memorable day visiting villages and other sites of interest along the way. The lunch was simple and filling (local eggs, cheese, tapenade, crackers and grape juice). Have no fear: Your guide is a real gem - kind, knowledgeable, patient, and thankfully also a good driver. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. ;) We even got a surprise stop that wasn’t part of the official tour but was an amazing addition! Many thanks for a fantastic day!!”
