“Rome was heaving (April) for Jubilee year, Easter week & Pope’s death - even so we did not need to have booked entry tickets in advance. No queues first thing, plenty of space in galleries to move around and see detail. A wealth of paintings (Raphael, Perruggio, PP Rubens etc) - we didn’t get to Uffizzi so this was well worth it, took over 3 hours inside the palace. Also fabric/costumes, mosaic stone work in floors and tables, sculptures….able to see everything close up and standing back. Boboli Gardens are a good enough example of classic Italianate structuring of a garden but were not well-kept or were quite dull in…”

“Alessia was a wonderful guide, passionate about southern italian history. Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Took us to different points at the right time to avoid later crowds. “We saw the Pitti Palace, Boboli Garden and² Palatine Gallery on 4 Oct 2025 with our wonderful guide. As part of the same ticket we were then able to explore the 'modern' art exhibit on the 2nd floor, the exhibit of other artefacts and the display of Italian fashion across the last few centuries. Brilliant and beautiful. Our guide was an expert, able to talk about what was in front of us and the history associated. We discovered places and descriptions and information we would otherwise have missed. It was one of our favuorite tours in Italy.”

“Our tour guide was fabulous! She very much understood the history of the castle and gardens. Although Southern Italian, our guide's use of subtle jokes in English demonstrated her strong command of the language. Unfortunately, it was raining on our day, so we spent much of our time inside the castle versus in the gardens. The castle is very nice but it was crowded possible due to the rain. The gardens, especially the English garden, are incredible! Would have liked to spend more time learning about those, but again, the rain. I'd highly recommend this tour and our guide.”

“Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, and Pallatina Gallery is a must see!! One could spend more than a day seeing all there is to see!! The gardens are stunning as well as the gallery. I’ve never seen such beautiful chandeliers as those in the palace. There are a lot of stairs to climb in the palace as well as the gardens. But so worth it!! Our tour guide did a wonderful job!”

“Great tour you literally visit all the castle and the gardens. Great guide. To visit the gardens you need to take a minibus or a golf cart that you have to pay extra. Or the other option is to walk which is really far and you will loose a lot of time.”
