“For starters our guide was 10 minutes late. Journey to Botanical Gardens was ok, bit rough in places and Tuk Tuk struggled badly on hill. We left the entire 4 hour trip to André and he really put the FUN in Funchal!!! André is a master at language (4 to be exact) and his knowledge of the area was tailored for our personalities. Right on, André! We'd do the Tukway TUK-TUK all over again if we could.”

“It was actually a trip to the Botanical Garden and back. Very nice time spent in tuktuk. The vehicle looked inconspicuous, but it was doing great on city roads, and the steep climbs did not make any impression on it. Sidónio (this is the name of our driver) was perfectly in control of the vehicle, and its valuable information about the buildings and the city was an additional advantage. I highly recommend it!”
